It can also be a good addition to your health regimen for as we all know, jogging and even walking has the benefit of getting your heart into shape. The daily walks required by dogs for exercise can be turned into a workout on its own and why not benefit from the pooch while he gets his daily dose. Bigger dogs require more exercise for their bodies like ours have specific muscles that atrophy when not used. Oral hygiene is very important but most of the times we do not pay that much attention to it. Sure everyone brushes their teeth but do you brush your teeth properly? According to dentists when you brush your teeth you should: Have your toothbrush at a 45 degree angle to your mouth. No need to measure but just make sure you angle your toothbrush. Brush your teeth for at least 3 minutes. That means the hurried brushing each morning before rushing off to work is not enough! To drink or not to drink? That is the question. I must admit all these new studies about the benefits and negative effects of each and every food and drink I like makes my head spin. They said alcohol is good for your heart but now new findings state that it actually leads to increased risk for cancer. So what should one do? I guess it depends on whether you’re more afraid of a heart attack or getting cancer! Seriously though, even moderate amounts of alcohol leads to increased cancer risk.
