Don’t rush it
When at a buffet, do not give in to the tendency to eat quickly so that you can hurry back to the table for seconds. Rather, eat slowly (small portions so that you’ll have enough space in that tummy) and then before going back to the buffet table, take your time and decide whether you can really handle more servings. This will eliminate your risk of overeating and then suffering from the consequences later on.
Don’t overdo it with sugar
If you love sweets, you might have a problem here but remember that moderation is they key. Why do we need to watch what we eat when it comes to sugar? Because a lot depends on it – when sugar levels skyrocket and then crash, the urge to binge becomes strong. So if we overdo it with sugar, there will be a snowball effect of binging. If you want to control your eating patterns during the holiday season, watch how much sweets you eat.
Avoid unfamiliar food
Well, if you are like me, you’d try most anything. That’s part of being an adventurous eater. Yet if you know that your stomach is quite sensitive and that you are prone to bloating and indigestion problems, I suggest you stay away from the unfamiliar. If you can’t, then at least only try tiny portions until you are sure that the food won’t do you harm.
Drink up that tea
