Give Yourself As Much Time As Possible
Although this variable isnâ€™t always completely in your control, Diane Schmidt, a contributor to The Spruce, recommends giving yourself as much time as possible to prepare and plan for your move. Schmidt states that 8 to 12 weeks is generally enough time to get everything organized for a move. So if you know youâ€™ll be moving in the near future, try to start the whole process a month or two before your moving date.
