Even alcohol can have immediate negative effects on your liver, and the more you drink (and the longer) it can have permanent damage. If you’re living on a diet of fatty and greasy foods and allowing yourself to be overweight or obese you are also damaging your liver and shortening your lifespan.

If you eat fresh foods and make wise decisions, picking foods rich in healthy nutrients, you can live longer and do it with far more energy. Great Tasting Food With Health Benefits

Not all great tasting food are good for the body. But then again, there are foods that do taste great yet provide amazing health benefits. Some are even recommended for people who want to lose weight. They include fruits, cereals and meat.

Fruits are packed with vitamins and minerals and one that is rich in monosaturated fat is the avocado. This green fruit helps in releasing hormones that make a person feel fuller at a longer time. It has also been found that people following a low-calorie diet with avocado were able to lose more weight than those who did not eat the fruit.

Ground beef is good for the health but only if it is the lean type. The beef should be 85 to 95 percent lean to help a person reduce weight. The protein in lean beef helps in preserving muscle mass which in turn help the body burn calories faster. An Australian study has shown that women who ate lean red meat six times in a week shed 25 percent more weight compared to the non-eaters. [Read more…]
