When you’re suffering from pain it can be hard to sleep at night. Pain can keep you away, and it can sometimes feel worse at night. It’s at night when you are most relaxed and your mind is more open, so you are thinking more about the throbbing or stabbing pain, instead of distracted from it.

When you’re down with a migraine you just want to close your eyes, but the pain keeps sleep from coming. When you have a toothache you want to sleep away the ache, but it pounds harder when you lay down.
