Bloggers and copywriters often experience carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), a condition that affects the fingers, hands and arms. This syndrome is often associated with people who frequently use their hands such as in using a computer, doing badminton or tennis and other activities. Although this condition can easily be prevented, it can worsen when taken for granted.
Carpal tunnel syndrome is caused by an increased pressure on the median nerve located at the wrist. It is often referred to as a pinched nerve that can lead to a tingling sensation, numbness, weakness or pain in the hand, fingers and arm.
The symptoms can be felt not only at night but even during daytime when the hands are at work. They can also be experienced by people suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, thyroid conditions, diabetes and pregnant women.
